Our New Web Site

September 21st, 2011

Our new web site went live in September 2011. We hope you enjoy using it, and we look forward to your feedback.

Following the outbreaks of E. coli in France and Germany the Food Standards Agency is reminding people that sprouted seeds should not be eaten raw.
Sprouted seeds should only be eaten if they have been cooked thoroughly until steaming hot throughout.
Equipment that has been used for sprouting seeds should be cleaned thoroughly after use with hot soapy water. People should always wash their hands before and after handling seeds intended for planting or sprouting as well as when preparing food.
More details are available on the FSA web site.
